Metal Treatment

PA offers a total Metal Treatment and Finishing service to the manufacturing industry.

We have one of the largest metal treatment and finishing facilities on the South Coast (Chromic Anodising of items up to 4.2 metres long for example). The treatment facility is supported by the comprehensive testing facilities available at the Company’s premises.

Our main plating facility provides:

Approvals for treatment are held from MOD, CAA and a number of large companies, including GKN-WHL and BAE SYSTEMS plc.

Organic Coatings

All types of wet coating are undertaken to various specifications, including Defence Quality Coatings and Textures.

Facilities include:

• Large Painting and Baking Booths with track facilities
• Environmental control
• Pre-coating preparation
• Shot, Bead and Vapour Blasting up to 3000 x 3000 x 10,000 mm.
• Zinc Metal Spraying
• Specialised masking
• Fully equipped, in-house laboratory
