Environmental Policy

Portsmouth Aviation Ltd is committed to the care of the environment and the prevention of pollution. We acknowledge that it is our responsibility to ensure that all aspects of our operations are carried out in such a way that they will have the minimum adverse affect on the environment, and that we comply with all applicable legal requirements and other requirements to which we subscribe to that relate to our environmental aspects.

This policy provides the framework for periodically setting and reviewing objectives and targets as part of the company's commitment to continually improve its environmental performance.

In line with these principles it is the policy of Portsmouth Aviation Ltd to: -

1. Maintain an Environmental Management System in accordance with our BS EN ISO14001 certification.

2. Assess all areas of our activities, products and services with respect to their impact on the environment, and incorporate all practicable procedures and controls where necessary in our commitment to prevent environmental damage and pollution.

3. Minimise and control the release of environmentally damaging substances to the surrounding area.

4. Monitor energy and resource consumption and use this information to improve efficiency.

5. Monitor waste production and use this information to reduce, reuse, recycle or eliminate waste materials.

All aspects of this policy will be communicated to employees, along with their individual responsibilities, through appropriate training and awareness, and to shareholders, customers, the public and any other interested parties as appropriate.
